The Sydney Cocktail Festival returns – hospitality

The Sydney Cocktail Festival returns this month to the Opera Bar on March 26 and 27.

Over the two days, some of Sydney’s smaller bars, including Re-, Maybe Sammy, PS40 and Double Deuce Lounge, will have to mix up 26 different cocktail recipes.

“The Sydney Cocktail Festival is a celebration of our incredible industry, cocktail culture and our city,” says re-bartender Evan Stroeve.

“The city is starting to wake up and this event reminds us of just how talented our bars and bartenders are, as well as the perfect opportunity to drink some of the best cocktails in the country, in Australia’s most iconic setting.”

Each day, seven different bars and their bartenders will concoct festival-exclusive cocktails.

Cocktails will include the PS40 Watermelon Chiller and the Miami Vice Pina Colada Combo; Zappo by Rosenbaum & Fuller; Mango Unchained by Re- and Bang Bang, Maybe Sammy’s citrus concoction.
