The property, which requires a stay of at least two nights, is linked to Caroline Astor, who was known for her lavish parties. Cara, the hotel’s restaurant, will feature a four-course dinner with wine offerings with âa community long table with cuisine such as Waygu beef and foie grasâ. The living room, a waterside destination with dark woods and fireplaces, will be converted into a dance floor overlooking the Atlantic. La Terrasse will offer billiards, games, tarot, cigar and cognac readings, and a Kolikoff caviar station.
At Auberge de la Colline du ChÃ¢teau, Chef Louis Rossi will offer a four-course tasting menu ($ 165 per person), starting with a family appetizer and followed by three dishes of your choice, such as black truffle spaghetti, seared scallops with delicata squash and a brown butter sauce, king crab with a creamy polenta and poached halibut. This year, head to the more modest salons of Providence and beyond for artisan cocktails and small bites.
Courtland Club will host its very first New Year celebration this year. Book a table for 10 p.m. and keep it for the night (until closing at 1 a.m. Admission of $ 75 per person includes two cocktails of your choice, a champagne toast at midnight, hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening and shows.
Hyde is tucked under the stairs of the George on Washington, where they serve their own take on classic cocktails, small plates, and have nightly entertainment. It was the same location, according to local legend, where privileged guests were given cocktails banned in a refrigerated casserole dish during Prohibition, and bartenders were given bottles of premium liquor through a shallow tunnel that still exists behind a closed cabinet. The Zach Millian Trio will perform upstairs on New Years Eve on New Years Eve while DJ Jackie Treehorn will perform in Hyde.

It is The Walnut Room, an underground bar that opened last July and is known for its wine list (Spain’s Luberri Rioja Orlegi – for $ 35 a bottle – is hard to find elsewhere), cheese platters, and cocktails. Best part: there is no cover or reservation required on New Years Day, you will receive free champagne and shows will be organized.
Cozy up in red leather armchairs against exposed brick walls Needle and thread on Peck Street in Providence. They will offer a special eve menu, which includes ceviche, filet mignon with a butter composed of gorgonzola and shallot, and desserts like Callebaut mousse (fine Belgian chocolate).
