One of the newest restaurants in Griffintown’s vibrant scene, Nolan has won accolades for its decadent, shareable menu that prioritizes Quebec-grown foods and its welcoming, mindful vibe.
Opened by a group of Montreal restaurant veterans, including executive chef Vincent Lévesque-Lepage, Nolan is already making a good impression after only opening its doors less than two months ago.

With a menu curated by Chef Vincent, dishes are decadent and flavorful and perfectly shared at the table.
It’s summer right now, so you’ll find lighter and more refreshing dishes like asparagus with smoked egg yolk and trout roe and a superb plate of radish in ranch sauce.
But don’t worry – more filling plates, like the cavatelli with sweet peas and Clos-des-Roches cheese, and the already iconic Nolan rolls of smoked meat, Emmental and sauerkraut with a sauce of sweet pepper, will fill both your belly and your heart with joy.
A recently launched lunch menu features fresh sandwiches, including a breakfast option, a vegan option and a heartier meat option.
Just like Nolan’s food menu, just as much love and attention has gone into the cocktail and wine lists.
The restaurant offers original creations like the Luberon with Select Aperitivo and Colombo Orange, as well as a few signature choices that have been dubbed the “Nolan Classics”, including Robyn with Averna, White Vermouth and Lemon.

The restaurant imports all of its wine from local agencies that work with wine producers around the world, Nolan told MTL Blog.
Although they have Canadian and Quebec wines, it’s a rather small amount, Nolan said.
As for the space, itself, the restaurant embraces a “come as you are” philosophy with a literal open-door policy… In fact, the team told MTL Blog that the positioning of the door was modified to allow a smoother circulation. , open plan space to truly maximize the gathering of friends, loved ones and diners.
Intimately chic, the design is as much a part of the gathering as the food. The restaurant doesn’t even have wifi – a way to encourage customers to be truly present during their stay at Nolan’s.
The gorgeous terrace is located on St. Martin Street, allowing for a quieter, more personal outdoor dining experience, while still being within all the action that Montreal’s tastiest neighborhood has to offer.
Open Wednesday through Sunday, Nolan has already established itself as one of the trendiest places to go this summer. And with a new season and a whole new menu on the horizon, there’s no doubt it’ll be just as popular year-round and beyond.
