LeAnn Rimes posts ‘classic’ comeback to mark 22 years of ‘dancing in bars’

LeAnn Rimes marks the anniversary of an iconic moment… ugly coyote released August 4, 2000. Rimes shared a throwback in honor of the film’s anniversary, on “Can’t Fight The Moonlight”.

Rimes wrote on Instagram, “it’s official… we’ve been dancing in bars for 22 years 😂.” She tagged the cast members Piper Perabo, Adam Garcia, Bridget Moynahan, Maria Bello, Izabella Mikoand hashtag Tyra Banks.

The “the wild” singer recalled the well-known scene when she spoke with iHeartCountry earlier this year. Rimes said at the time that she was still puzzled about how someone allowed her to dance on top of a bar when she was a teenager. She laughed as she told iHeartCountry: “I can’t believe my mum – well, not that she had a say in it back then, but – I was 17, can’t believe someone let me ride in a bar at 17.”

Rimes recently celebrated 25 years as a recording artist and, in a recent interview, reflected on her resilience as she grew up in the spotlight and built her storied career. The record-breaking country artist rocketed to success as a teenager and even became the youngest and first country artist to win Best New Artist at the GRAMMY Awards in 1997.
