Norwich is one of the best cities in the UK for pubs, with hundreds of pubs lining its streets despite a number of recent closures.
But did you know that there are only five bars left in town where you can play the traditional pub game – bar billiards?
Based on the French and Belgian game of Russian billiards, bar billiards was invented in the UK in the 1930s and was a fixture in pubs across the country in later years.
However, now the game, which is similar to snooker but sees players knocking over poles as they pocket balls, has seen a decline in popularity with few pubs still having a table.
This is where you will find the remaining bar pool tables in Norwich.
